CHARLOTTE, NC (WJBF)- In the NFL, the Carolina Panthers beginning their pre-season against the Cleveland Browns this week.

The Panthers are now in their third week of training camp. Starting Wednesday, they'll have a joint practice with the Cleveland Browns, which will give the Panthers an opportunity to compete against someone other than themselves. It's something the players and head coach Dave Canales are looking forward to.

"It's fun, because it gets you ready for Sundays. They're coming in here, and that's the closest thing you can get to a real game, in this time period so it's going to be fun," said cornerback Mike Jackson.
