CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Training camp is almost over for the Carolina Panthers as the team prepares for the first preseason game this weekend.
The Panthers pushed through the downpours that plagued Charlotte early Tuesday morning. Due to the rain, players wore shells as opposed to being back in full pads.
But that didn't stop the black and blue as they looked ahead to Wednesday's joint practice with the Cleveland Browns. The Panthers will finally get the chance to go head-to-head with an opponent and really see where they stack up.
Veterans Mike Jackson and Austin Corbett are looking forward to getting in some good reps against another squad.
