Erdal Ozmen was the man found wounded in the street early yesterday morning (August 5), reports ITV.

Despite attempts to save him, the 45-year-old died at the junction of Dynevor Road and Stoke Newington High Street soon after midnight.

A murder investigation was launched with police tape closing Stoke Newington High Street and a tent in Dyvenor Road.

Liza Dodds said: “My husband told me there had been a shooting and I looked out the window and it was terrible - the policeman was giving CPR to someone for a very long time.

She added: “Anyone of us could have gone out to the shops and been shot at accidentally.
