Gary Lineker will reportedly make a stunning comeback to Saturday night television by hosting a new game show on ITV.
The former Match of the Day presenter left his BBC post after 25 years earlier this year following a controversial post on social media. Lineker , 64, is now said to be fronting the UK adaptation of the successful Norwegian celebrity game show – The Box.
The programme is being pitched as the spiritual successor to Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. According to The Sun , The Box will see 12 celebrities confined to separate boxes, where they will complete a series of terrifying challenges.
The concept is being likened to a hybrid of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and SAS: Who Dares Wins.
