The internet is awash with different shaped and sized individuals , with the body positivity movement encouraging people to embrace their figure and prioritise health over looking a certain way or adhering to certain standards . ‌

However, a fashion giant has been slammed by the advertising watchdog for publishing "socially irresponsible" photos of models who appeared to be "unhealthily thin" in a damning new ruling, calling the retailer into question. ‌

Zara listed two products on its website in May featuring an image of a model wearing an oversize pocket shirt and another of a model wearing a voluminous combined short dress. ‌

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received one complaint that the ads were irresponsible because the models appeared to be unheal
