About four months ago, during Spring Break, I was not on vacation. I was not somewhere warm. I did not feel relaxed. After a drive through the still-cold Michigan air, I sat in an Oakland University auditorium in Rochester Hills next to my mom. We were at a town hall hosted by U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens , D-Mich., to discuss the then-recent U.S. Department of Government Efficiency employment cuts . Ensnared in my post presidential election haze , I didn’t know what to expect.

Now, I have been to town halls before. I have been to debates and forums and meet and greets. I have seen politicians interact with their constituencies before. Sure, I was angry at the Democratic Party for blowing an election to a close associate of Jeffrey Epstein , but that was just me. I am just one person.
