(Geronimo) — The Navarro Panthers usher in a new era in 2025.

Head coach Glenn Hill comes to Navarro High School fresh off a state championship as the offensive coordinator at Smithson Valley High School. The new Panther coach brings a new offensive philosophy to Geronimo. After nearly two decades of running the Slot-T under head coaches Les Goad and Rod Blount, Glenn Hill is implementing a new offense, but he says the physical elements of the Slot-T will remain.

“It’s not a secret that this has been an extremely successful school,” Hill said. “Les Goad, I think he had 127 wins here. Then Coach Blount took over and just continued winning while he was here (with the Slot-T). It’s a great offense; the only thing is I’m not a Slot-T guy.
