ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) -- Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from the St. Petersburg Community Release Center this week.

Jamie L. Jenks, 33, escaped at around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Jenks was sentenced to two years in prison in October 2024 for several counts of petit theft.
