Coronation Street stars have been flooding social media with birthday wishes for Antony Cotton as he celebrated a major milestone.

The actor is best known for playing Sean Tully in the ITV soap, having made his debut back in 2003. Fans may recall that Sean first appeared in Weatherfield while searching for somewhere to live, and it was then that he found a home at No.11 with Eileen Grimshaw.

And the rest, as they say, is history as he went on to become Underworld's first male machinist and has also spent years as a barman at the Rovers Return.

But his long tenure on the cobbles has also meant he's celebrated many of life's big moments while working on the long-running show, the latest being his 50th birthday.
