MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- Grant County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a Moses Lake man for attempted murder and robbery.

According to GCSO, law enforcement went to a home on Kathy Drive Northeast in unincorporated Friday night.

A man told officers he and the suspect, 27-year-old Luis Angel Ortega, had a confrontation and Ortega hit him on the head with a gun. The victim said Ortega tried to shoot him, but the gun jammed.

The victim also told officers Ortega took jewelry from him in the attack.

Moses Lake police and Grant County deputies were able to locate and arrest Ortega Tuesday for first-degree assault, robbery, and attempted murder.
