LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The Barry-Eaton District Health Department announced on social media that walk-ins are closed on select days due to staff shortages.

According to Facebook, the Environmental Health Division changed its hours to the following: • Effective August 11: • Barry County Office: Open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday • Eaton County Office: Open to the public on Monday and Wednesday

"When our office is closed: The office doors will remain locked to limit walk-in traffic, phone and email will still be monitored, services will be available by appointment only, and staff will continue responding to urgent concerns."
