Two pedestrians were left hurt following a 'serious collision' with car close to a junction Rugby . The two women, who have not been identified, were both left injured as a result of the incident on Lawford Lane.

Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said that they responded to 999 calls to report a collision between a car and two pedestrians. It involved an older blue Peugeot and two pedestrians on Lawford Lane, near the junction with Main Street, Bilton.

WMAS said that one ambulance was sent to the scene at just before 2.30pm on the afternoon of Friday, August 1. Police were at the scene to manage traffic.
