FORT STEWART, Ga. - A lockdown is currently in place at Georgia's Fort Stewart after what officials are calling an "active shooter incident."
Authorities announced on Facebook that Fort Stewart Commander Colonel William "Gabe" Weaver has issued a lockdown for the base and the Wright and Evans Army Airfield.
