OAKLAND, Calif. - Seven faucets at Oakland's Hillcrest Elementary School have tested positive for lead, just as students are preparing to head back to class.

The principal said the faucets have been turned off and are being replaced.

But she's asking parents to make sure students come to school next week with a refillable water bottle, to use at the school's water machines.

Oakland Unified has been dealing with lead hazards since 2017.
