NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A woman was arrested overnight in connection with a deadly "vehicle surfing" incident from April, but she's already been released on bond, according to Nashville authorities.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said investigators identified 31-year-old Ashley Sells was as the driver of a Dodge Charger doing donuts in the early morning hours of April 26 while 31-year-old Shannon Kilgore was laying on the hood.
Officials said video evidence showed Kilgore fell off the top of the Charger, fracturing her skull, while Sells performed the dangerous driving stunt. Sells and her passenger reportedly brought Kilgore to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, where Kilgore died two days later.
