LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - With Texas Tech football still weeks away from the 2025 season, one marked with high expectations- head coach Joey McGuire says one of his methods to keeping players and coaches sharp was stimulating “chaos” in order to keep everyone from becoming too comfortable.

“I got one on Behren. It was third-and-long and it was a big play to CD (Caleb Douglas), and I called a sack, and we had to kick a field goal- and their response, they didn’t get down.
