Aubrey Plaza is set to star in and produce The Heidi Fleiss Story , a biopic of “Hollywood madam” Heidi Fleiss from Pinky Promise , the production company behind the Pamela Anderson drama The Last Showgirl , Deadline has confirmed.

The dark comedy marks the directorial debut of Leah Rachel , the creator of Netflix series Chambers . Rachel Sennott , the actress known for roles in titles like Shiva Baby and Bottoms , who has her own upcoming HBO series, penned the script with Rachel and Travis Jackson. Jessamine Burgum and Kara Durrett will produce for Pinky Promise, alongside Plaza for Evil Hag, with production to take place in Los Angeles this year.
