ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) - Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice did not participate in practice at training camp on Wednesday.

The third-year receiver was dealing with a groin injury, as confirmed by the Chiefs.

Rice was seen working on the sideline with trainers alongside fellow receiver Hollywood Brown, who’s been out with an ankle injury.

Rice missed the majority of the 2024 season with a knee injury to his LCL after suffering an injury in Week 4. At the podium last week, he said he feels even better than he did last summer before his injury.

After a standout rookie season, Rice caught 24 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns through his first three games last season.

Practice was eventually moved indoors due to inclement weather.
