Newberry Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Newberry Co. deputies say they responded to a shooting with no injuries in Prosperity off of Langford St.

Investigators say a suspect fled the area prompting the lock down of Prosperity Rikard School and the Mid Carolina campus.

Deputies say Elbert Epps has been detained in connection with the shooting.

No injuries have been reported.
