A tiny Lanarkshire kitten gave his family a scare when he got his head stuck in a brick overnight.

Meet Yogi, a little troublemaker who vets call an 'aspiring bricklayer'. At just six weeks-old he managed to get his head stuck in the hole of a brick overnight.

His worried owners took him straight to the vets where he is said to have remained "incredibly calm" while staff sedated him before using "a lot" of lubrication to free his tiny head.

Thankfully, the team at Clyde Vet Group Small Animal Hospital in Lanark successfully released Yogi and after some recovery time is now back home, happy and healthy.

The Clyde Vet team jokingly said he is "hopefully steering clear of any more DIY disasters".

Little Yogi stole hearts after a post made to Facebook received a fair bit of attention.
