COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Lexington-Richland School District Five is expanding at another one of its elementary schools. On Wednesday, the district hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new classroom wing at Lake Murray Elementary School. Officials say the new wing will help the district expand educational programs and work on adding educational space without adding more portables.

Students in Lexington-Richland School District Five head back to class Thursday.
