ODON—A construction project to fix some of the long-running water issues in Odon is expected to begin this fall. The $8.21 million project was studied and discussed for years. Now, the final plans are going into place to start construction in October.
“It’s been a struggle. We had to resolve the tower location,” said Odon Town Board member B.J. Sanders. “We have gone out for bids. The bids came in a little higher than expected and we had to work that out. We are meeting with contractors and signing contracts by the end of the month. We hope to break ground in October and it is expected to be a one year construction project.”
