SOUTHERN INDIANA — The lead Indiana State Police investigator in the Jamey Noel criminal case served a two-day unpaid suspension last month related to information he’s accused of providing to Dubois County officials regarding a separate public official investigation.

The suspension was ordered at about the same time former ISP Superintendent Doug Carter appeared on an Indianapolis radio show questioning why the Dubois County investigation ultimately failed to produce charges after Gov. Mike Braun took office.
