Police are asking for the public’s help with a hit-and-run investigation in west London that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said emergency crews responded to a 911 call about a man lying in the middle of the roadway in the area of Cherryhill Place and Platts Lane, near the Oxford Street West intersection, on July 29 around 8:20 a.m.
The man was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital, police said, adding that no vehicle remained at the scene.
As of Wednesday, the man remains in hospital with injuries “still considered serious” but is expected to survive, Const. Matt Dawson, a London police spokesperson, told the Free Press.
“We’re looking for any information we can get that would assist us with bringing this to a resolution,” Dawson said.
