BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WV News) — An attorney has offered a $1,000 reward after both of his vehicles were among several ransacked overnight Aug. 3 in two Charles Pointe-area neighborhoods.
Bridgeport Police Chief Mark Rogers said Detective Sgt. Brett Stewart is leading the investigation into the thefts from several vehicles throughout that area.
The attorney offering the reward, Alex Harclerode, has helped collect security video from neighbors, and police believe the suspect to be a male, Rogers said.
The chief added that any determination on whether the reward would be issued, and to who, would be up to Harclerode since the Police Department has nothing to do with the cash offer.
