The Washington Lady Hatchets basketball team has been a flagship program across this corner of the state. Not only do they perform on the court, with multiple sectional crowns over the last few years, multiple college recruits and stellar academics, they have also been recognized for their work in the community.

They have hosted youth camps and skills clinics, fundraisers for those with disabilities, and most recently a fundraiser for the Cooper Schuckman Scholarship funds, one scholarship through the FFA and one through the Hatchet boys’ basketball boosters.
