ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) - At one point in 2024, Antonio Pierce was introducing the ‘Mahomes rules,’ a new version of the ‘Jordan rules’ for the basketball icon repackaged for a defensive mentality against the Chiefs legendary quarterback.

The now-former Las Vegas Raiders head coach, who on a podcast in February 2024 with Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby said his team needed to “hate the color red,” was in attendance at Chiefs Training Camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, this week, even donning Chiefs gear as he appeared on the practice field.

On Tuesday, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo praised Pierce, who he coached as a coordinator with the New York Giants in the late-2000s.
