LUMBERTON, Texas — A 60-year-old Silsbee woman has been charged with felony criminal mischief after allegedly driving her pickup truck through Infant Jesus Catholic Church on July 21, causing an estimated $125,000 in damage, according to a probable cause affidavit.
She is out of jail now after bonding out on a $75,000 bond.
Lisa Kay Chatelain was arrested on a third-degree felony charge following the incident at 243 S. LHS Drive in Lumberton, police said. She told officers she was "making a movie" after driving her orange Toyota Tacoma through the church's front entrance and into the sanctuary, according to police reports.
