CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A Goose Creek man faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison in connection with the federal corruption investigation involving a North Charleston city councilmember.
Hason Tatorian “Tory” Fields , 51, had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery with respect to programs receiving federal funds and honest services wire fraud, bribery with respect to programs receiving federal funds and honest services wire fraud.
The United States Department of Justice obtained evidence in the investigation, which revealed that Fields conspired with others to pay bribes to Sandino Moses, who was serving as a member of the City of North Charleston’s City Council representing District 7, according to U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesperson Veronica Hill.
