As construction continues by on the wildlife overpass south of Flagstaff, traffic on Interstate 17 will temporarily shift to one side of the highway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

The traffic shift will begin on Thursday, Aug. 7 as I-17 narrows to one line in each direction near Willard Springs Road about 12 miles south of Flagstaff. Crews will finishing the barrier-wall placement, in addition to other work, on Thursday to switch both directions of traffic to southbound I-17 for at least two weeks. Copy article link
