LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas volleyball is ranked No. 14 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) preseason poll.
Kansas ended its 2024 season with a final AVCA ranking of No. 12 after falling to Florida in a five-set match in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks spent the entirety of the season in the Top 25 for the second consecutive year.
Kansas volleyball was picked to finish second in the 2025 Big 12 Preseason Coaches’ Poll earlier on Wednesday, Aug. 6. The Jayhawks earned 170 points and received four first-place votes.
In addition, Sophomore Cristin Cline (S), sophomore Reese Ptacek (MB), and freshman Jovana Zelenovic (PIN) all earned 2025 Preseason All-Big 12 Team honors.
Kansas will open its 2025 season on August 23 with a match against V
