(NewsNation) — Blake Lively is challenging a protective order requested by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, NewsNation has learned.

Lively’s legal team filed a legal document Wednesday in the Southern District of New York asking the court to deny Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira Jr., his motion.

The “Simple Favor” actress has also asked the courts to compel Hilton to “respond and produce materials” related to the subpoena he received in July.

Lively is suing Justin Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, for spearheading a smear campaign against the actress following the release of "It Ends with Us."
