Jasper Police arrested an armed man for stealing from the donation bin at Goodwill on South Wheeler Street.

The report said officers caught 30-year-old Hideo Pina, of Jasper, in the act of stealing numerous items and he was armed with a handgun. According to the report, Pina told police that he planned to sell the items for his own profit.

Pina was arrested and charged with Theft of Property and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
