The Surf Ballroom & Museum in September will unveil “Not Fade Away: The Immersive Surf Ballroom Experience ” – a permanent exhibit honoring the legacy of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson in Clear Lake.

Opening festivities will be held Sept. 4 with a book signing and special preview. The full exhibit debut and ribbon cutting will be on Sunday, Sept. 7.

"Not Fade Away" will be housed in the newly completed Music Enrichment Center adjacent to the historic Surf Ballroom.
