LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man accused of drunkenly hitting a pedestrian with his truck, leaving him seriously injured, was arrested on Wednesday.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, an investigation into the June 11 collision determined 32-year-old Ki Wah was driving a red Toyota Tacoma while intoxicated. Lincoln Police said he was headed west on Normal Boulevard in the eastbound lane when he saw a pedestrian in the road but could not stop.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue, as well as Lincoln Police, were sent to the area of 53rd Street and Normal Boulevard around 3:15 a.m.
A witness told police she was traveling eastbound on Normal Boulevard when she noticed car parts and a man on the ground. The man appeared confused, injured and bloody, she told police.
