A Mobile County Circuit Court judge has granted a temporary restraining order closing a local clinic charged with a "deceptive scheme" and prohibiting its affiliates from soliciting new business.
The ruling, signed by Circuit Judge Michael P. Windom on Wednesday, Aug. 6, follows a lawsuit filed by the Mobile County District Attorney’s office accusing South Alabama Medical & Rehab (SAM&R) of exploiting car accident victims for profit through fraudulent medical and legal practices.
