DARLINGTON (WBTW) - A couple of years ago, the Darlington football program had no direction and confidence. When Jamie Johnson entered the picture 2 years ago, he completely changed the culture and got the guys believing again.

Last year, they won 6 games and advanced to the 2nd round of the SCHSL Class 4A playoffs.

This season, they return 14 starters on offense and defense led by quarterback Jaylen Augustus. Their defense will be a strength with 9 of the 11 starters back, including Oreion Small, Adarius Martin, among others.
