"So when we were choosing the movie, Bedford's name, I felt like every name I threw out, Jesse was like, 'No, no.' I threw up Bedford from 'It's a Wonderful Life' just because that's my favorite movie; the idea that one man's life can touch so many. So now that we have seen this come to fruition, it's like, I don't know, it's crazy that his name on top of that, it has so much meaning behind it," Hollie Erickson said of her son, Bedford, who has Schwartz-Jampel syndrome.
