JOHNSTOWN (WTAJ) -- The Bishop McCort-Carroll Crushers have been one of the most talked-about teams this offseason. High expectations are built around the return of the Crushers' starting lineup, and the additions of Johnstown transfers, Zymir and Julius Reed. • 2024 Record: 5-6

On Tuesday, the PIAA upheld District 6's decision to rule the brothers ineligible for the upcoming year. The league and district said that since the transfer from Johnstown was athletically motivated, the brothers were ineligible. The athletic motivation is Johnstown's decision to not renew their dad, Antwaun Reed's, head-coaching contract.

Still, the Crushers had plenty of high expectations even without the Reeds.
