Citadel Theatre announced Wednesday that its 2025-2026 season begins Sept. 10 with the stage adaptation of “Misery,” William Goldman’s adaptation of Stephen King’s novel about a romance novelist and the obsessed fan who terrorizes him after he kills off her favorite characters.

Next up is Tom Dudzick’s comedy “Miracle on South Division Street” (Nov. 12-Dec. 14), about a Buffalo, New York, woman who upends a long-cherished Christmas Eve story that shakes her family to the core.
