LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Visitors to Little Rock’s Park Plaza mall could soon see an increased law enforcement presence thanks to a decision made on Tuesday.
At the Little Rock city board meeting, directors voted to build a public safety annex on the mall’s second floor.
“This is part of an ongoing relationship with the City of Little Rock and law enforcement that we have been working on for quite some time,” explained Teresa Poe, the general manager of Park Plaza.
That ongoing relationship led to city board members like Kathy Webb, who is over the area that includes Park Plaza, to vote "yes" on what will essentially be a new office space for cops within the mall.
