PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Some of the animals at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter will have their adoption fees waived this weekend.

The shelter will be hosting the adoption event at Pohanka Capital Heights, located at 1772 Ritchie Station Ct., on Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., showcasing some of its dogs and cats.

In partnership with Pohanka Automotive, any dogs and cats that are adopted during the event will have their adoption fees waived.
