DULUTH, Minn.- After the Huskies defeated the Honkers 4 to 3 on Tuesday afternoon, the team did some scoreboard watching in the evening.

That’s when the Waterloo Bucks took down the Eau Claire Express 11 to 2, clinching a playoff spot for Duluth.

So it’ll be the first half champs in the Great Plains East against the 2nd half champs in the first roundof the playoffs.

Loggers versus the Huskies in a best of three game series.

Game one takes place on Sunday in La Crosse at 5:05 PM.

Duluth is guaranteed one home playoff game. That would be game two on Monday at 6:35 PM.
