CLOVIS, N.M.-- The Clovis Police Department provided details about a shooting early Wednesday morning that resulted in the arrest of Alan Flores, 21, who is accused of shooting two individuals in a moving vehicle.

According to CPD, around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, dispatch received a 911 call from juveniles in a moving vehicle, who said they had been shot. The drivers continued toward Plains Regional Medical Center, where officers met them.

Two victims, an 18-year-old female and a 17-year-old male, reported being shot at while they were at a home on Piersall Avenue. They both sustained injuries to their heads and upper bodies. Officers responded to the scene on Piersall Avenue, where they found a male named Alan Flores looking at several spent bullet casings in the roadway.
