Kevin Federline is set to release a new memoir, You Thought You Knew. The dancer and DJ, who rose to fame after marrying Britney Spears, will share his book with the world on 21 October, he announced on Wednesday. "This book is extremely intimate and transparent. I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence," Federline shared. "If you've ever had questions, you'll find answers here." The memoir promises to deliver the story of "fame, fatherhood and the private cost of public life - from one of pop culture's most misunderstood figures", according to a press release. The release describes the book as "deeply personal and emotionally grounded", and says it marks the first time Federline has publicly spoken about the events and relationships that shaped him. Federline was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007. They share sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18. He is also dad to daughter Kori, 23, and son Kaleb, 21, with ex Shar Jackson. He married Victoria Prince in 2008, and they have two daughters. The memoir will cover Federline's marriage to and divorce from Spears, as well as the fallout from their split and how he learned to protect his six children from the glaring spotlight. The release comes nearly two years after Spears released her memoir, The Woman in Me.
