BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The full pads were on at Texas A&M football practice for the first time during fall camp on Wednesday, and it was noticeable.

The coaches ramped up the intensity, and it started to feel more like football season with the physicality.

“It felt good, you know, to get back up, be out there with the guys, you know, getting hit, it feels good,” running back Rueben Owens said. “Every time we get in pads, the defense gets rowdy, the offense gets rowdy, it’s real competition. A lot of banging.”
