TIPTONVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) - Kenneth Hayes has lived on Carrington Road since the 1990s and watched first-hand as law enforcement agencies investigated the wooded area next to his house last week.

Hayes said he used to walk down the street and hike in the wooded area before four bodies were found dead last Tuesday night. Hayes said he hasn’t been back down there since.

“I’ve heard rumors about the shootings and all that, and I really don’t care to see what might possibly be down there. You know, something that bad,” said Hayes.

Hayes said he will eventually travel down the street again. He said right now it feels eerie.
