A Valley Italian restaurant with a location in Scottsdale recently celebrated a major charity milestone.

Since starting its cookie giveback program in 2021, Picazzo’s announced it has donated more than $47,000 to charity for research for Rett Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder on the autism spectrum.

This campaign focuses on Rett Syndrome because Picazzo’s Managing Partner Chris Disney has a daughter who was diagnosed. The campaign, which started in 2021, sees Picazzo’s donate $1 for every chocolate chip cookie sold. The money goes to Rett Syndrome Research Trust, an organization that is looking to find a cure.
