HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- In what union leaders consider a disappointing but unsurprising development, Cleveland Cliffs notified United Steelworkers (USW) leaders this week that the status of the company's Conshohocken-area plant will change from "indefinite idle" to "closed" on Nov. 4.
The news was unsurprising following media reports earlier this week that the 66-acres site had been listed for sale, with an agent describing redevelopment possibilities for the land.

Officially, the site is in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County. It employed more than 100 people.
