TEMPLE, Texas — Actress Kelley Mack, best known for her roles on "The Walking Dead" and "Chicago Med," died Saturday at 33 years old after a lengthy battle with a rare disease.
Mack's family reports she died "peacefully" after enduring midline glioma of the central nervous system. The news comes months after Mack, born Kelley Klebenow, revealed she had been diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma in January. According to the National Cancer Institute, diffuse midline glioma refers to a cancerous brain tumor that typically begins in the brain or spinal cord.
